What is Facebook Pixel ?

A Facebook pixel is a piece of code on your website that can help you better understand the effectiveness of your advertising and the actions people take on your site. You can use this information to optimize your ad spending and improve the performance of your ads.

A pixel is a small piece of code placed on your website to help advertisers and other businesses understand how visitors interact with your site. Pixel technology can be used to track visitors' behavior on your site, understand what they do there, and improve the effectiveness of your marketing campaigns.

The pixel is also used to track users who have visited a website but not taken any action. This data can then be used to help identify people interested in certain products or services, and target them with more specific ads.

There are a few different ways that you can use the Facebook Pixel, but here we'll go over how to create one for your website.

If you already have a Facebook Page for your business and want to add Facebook Pixel code to it, then follow these steps:

1. Go to the About menu on your Facebook Page and select Edit Settings from the drop-down menu.

2. Under General Settings, select Audience Insights and then choose Pixel Code from the drop-down menu.

3. Enter your site URL in the text field below, then click Add Pixel Code button at bottom of page.

4. Copy and paste the code provided in Step 3 into any page of your website where you would like to track visitors with this pixel. You can also see what information is being collected here by hovering over each option

Once you have your Facebook Pixel, you can use it for a number of things. Here are the most common uses:

Track conversions: When someone clicks on an ad and converts to a lead, you want to know that they came from an ad. By using a Facebook Pixel, you can track conversions from your campaign and see exactly where visitors came from.

Measure ROAS: Return on investment (ROI) is one of the most important metrics in digital marketing because it helps you understand how much money your campaigns are generating for your business. A Facebook Pixel will allow you to see what conversion paths people take on your site so that you can get a better sense of how effective each route is at driving sales or leads.

Track social proof: If someone sees multiple other people click on an ad through Facebook’s ads manager tool, they might be more likely to click on it themselves. By using a Facebook Pixel, you can track social proof on your website and make sure that it’s aligned with your brand personality and message.
